MIOL K1 drops

1. Quality and Quantity Composition:
5 drops contains 50 micrograms of vitamin K1 (phylloquinone) in vegetable oil (sunflower oil) with a specific profile of fatty acids, without any types of additives.
2. Pharmaceutical forms:
“MIOL K1” is available in drops for oral use.
3. Properties of components present in the formula traded as “MIOL K1”:
the particular carrier used optimizes the absorption and therefore the bio availability of fat-soluble vitamins, it has protective action of the principle active vitamin, taking adequately without decanting or separation of the elements. Not being water based guarantees the best possible conservation of the product “MIOLK1”,has no taste and has no additives (preservatives, colours, emulsifiers, flavourings, etc.); it is made by mixing rising dosages of the two dissolving elements and, during the preparation phase, working with the techniques of eliminating the air bubbles found within the oil.
4. Indication:
recommended in case of increased demand or decreased dietary intake of these nutrients, prevention of hemorrhaging in newborns, in the later form, of vitamin K deficiency under supervision by physician.
5. Dosage:
the recommended daily dose is 5 drops. The right dosage for children under 1 year should be determined by the physician.
6. How to use:
administer the drops directly or diluted in suitable liquids.
7. Usage:
take medical advice before using this product.
8. Overdose:
this concentration has no major side effects if an involuntary overdose is taken; however keep away from children and do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
9. Interaction with other medicines:
In concomitant use with oral coagulants, temporary resistance to oral anticoagulants may result. The natural need of vitamin K1 can in some cases increase in the long-term usage of antibiotics or salicylates.
10. Pregnancy and breastfeeding:
when pregnant take only when necessary and under direct medical supervision.
11. Possible side effects:
not known at this dose; only in excess this vitamin can cause the increase of bilirubin for the first few days of
newborns. In those susceptible, hyper sensibility may show.
12. Expiry:
24 months. Shelf life refers to the product properly stored in unopened package. Once the bottle is opened, use within 30 days.
13. Conservation of product:
Store the product in a cool and dry place, away from light and direct heat. Do not freeze. Store it in an upright position, not upside down.
