Ziman ® Syrup
Ingredients:
Each 5ml syrup offers:
750 mg Thymus vulgaris extract
75 mg Ivy leaf extract (Hedera helix)
Indications:
Expectorant and cough relief in the common cold
Anti-spasmodic and anti-inflammatory in respiratory disorders
Mechanism of Action:
Thyme consumption has been confirmed due to the presence and effect of Thymol and Carvacrol for the treatment of cough and bronchitis. Studies have shown that these ingredients affect the antibacterial activity by compounding inside the bacterial membrane proteins. There is also a synergistic effect due to the combination of Thymol and Carvacrol. Carvacrol is a major component of thyme extract, its antibacterial and antifungal effects have been shown on various microorganisms.
Ivy plant extract is known as a sputum liquefying agent, inflammatory reducing agent, and by reducing respiratory mucosa irritations reduces the number of coughs.
Dosage:
Children between 1 and 2 years: 2 ml of syrup to be taken 3 times per day
Children between 2 and 6 years: 3 ml of syrup to be taken 3 times per day
Children between 6 and 12 years: 4 ml of syrup to be taken 3 times per day
People above 12 and adults: 5 ml of syrup to be taken 3 times per day
Side effects:
The use of this product is safe in recommended doses. If allergic to any of the components of the product, there is possibility for allergic reactions to occur. Therefore, if you have symptoms like shortness of breath, skin rashes, and hives the administration must be discontinued. Some cases of mild digestive disorders such as abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting have been reported with this drug.
Storage:
Store below 30°C in the original box. Protect from direct light and avoid from freezing.
